On-line Ticket Sales Up Open Next Tuesday 10/4

Follow this link: http://www.havennarnia.brownpapertickets.com

Or call 1-800-838-3006

Are all tickets performance specific and assigned seating?

Yes. When you purchase your tickets you will choose a performance AND a seat.

How much are tickets?

General Admission: $10 pre-sale, $12 at the door. VIP: first three rows, ranging $15-30.

How do I sell my 10 pre-sale tickets?

Each family is required to sell AT LEAST 10 tickets. You can either send your family members or friends to the website to purchase their own tickets, or you can purchase a block of tickets and sell them on your own. If you send your family and friends to purchase their own tickets, you will need to provide the Haven offices with a list of names for the people who purchased tickets.

What if I want to have hard copy tickets to sell?

When you purchase your tickets, you will select how you want your tickets delivered. The company can mail you hard copies of tickets if you would like. You can then sell these tickets to your family and friends.

What if I need to exchange a ticket?

You will not be able to exchange a ticket through Brown Paper Tickets. You must wait until on-line ticket sales are shut down one week prior to opening night. Tickets will be available for exchange at specifically scheduled times during tech week.

What if I have a technical problem purchasing tickets on-line?

You will need to contact Brown Paper Tickets. Haven cannot solve any technical issues for you.

What if I have a friend or family member who isn’t good at using the computer or internet?

They can call Brown Paper Tickets instead. All transactions can be done over the phone as well: 1-800-838-3006.

How long are pre-sale tickets available?

Pre-sale tickets are available up to one week before opening night (Thursday 11/3). After that time, tickets will be available at the door or during special box office hours during tech week.

Conflicts

There are NO conflicts during tech week.  No exceptions.   Please remember, you are part of a team and you let down your team when you aren’t present.

Stuff to Bring

Please bring the following items to rehearsal.  You may leave these items under your chair the entire week.

(1) Make-up Kit

(2) Hair brush and bobby pins (we don’t share hairbrushes)

(3) Leotard (girls) or shorts and tank (boys) to wear under your costume for quick changes.

(4) A water bottle with a lid (no food and drink allowed near costumes, only water in a sealed container)

(5) Required dance shoes

(6) Book or quiet activity for downtime

Stuff to Leave at Home

Please leave the following items at home.

(1) Valuables (anything you would be sad about if it gets lost or stolen)

(2) IPod, Game Boy, DS, or other electronic games (cell phones should be on silent and kept out of sight, no texting or games on your cell during rehearsal)

(3) Jewelry (remove and leave at home all earrings, necklaces, rings, unless they are period appropriate and have been approved by your director)

(4) Painted nails – unless they are period appropriate

Ending Time

The tough part about tech week is that we need to get through the entire production each night.  We will do our best to end by 10:00 PM. Please feel free to text the Haven Phone for an update on ending times or come early and watch the end of the rehearsal.  Your child will call when the rehearsal is finished.

Parents

Feel free to watch dress rehearsals and use the opportunity to take photos.

Sign-In

Please sign in at the side glass doors.  If you do not sign in, we will assume you are not present and our stage manager will call you to find you.

Sign-Out for Tech Week

You must check out each night with Kindra to insure that your costumes and props have been properly put away.  Please make sure you sign out so that we know your parents have picked you up.

Sign-Out for Performances

All cast members will be released in costume to visit with friends and family.  Once a cast member is released, they are no longer under the care of Haven staff members.

Backstage

Parents, family members, and friends will not be allowed backstage during performances.  Parent volunteers for each performance will be given a badge.  Parents, you are welcome to help your child with costumes and make up until one hour prior to curtain.  The backstage area will be re-opened to parents after the show.

Costumes

Costumes are never to leave the building.  You should always change back into your street clothes after each rehearsal or show.  Please leave all your costumes, shoes, and props here at the church – even if it’s something that you personally own.

Dance Make Ups:

All missed dances must be made up by Saturday’s rehearsal. If you feel that you are still struggling with a dance, now is the time to get together with another cast member to review. If you do not have time to learn and clean your dance before Saturday, you will be asked to sit out of that particular number. This is not meant to be a punishment, but a way to insure our students have enough time to perfect all twelve group numbers by opening night.

Posters and Flyers:

Posters and flyers will be available at the sign in board. Please take posters to put up around town at local businesses, schools, and other public places. Smaller flyers are for family and friends. Help us spread the word about our amazing show!

Ticket Contest!

We are so excited for this production and we want to make sure we fill our seats for our talented, hard working cast. This is truly a culmination of years of hard work for our Haven tappers. It’s going to be a special show. So we are doing a ticket contest to fill our seats.

Here’s the rules:

  • Each family unit is encouraged to sell as many tickets as possible.
  • On closing night, families who wish to enter the ticket contest will turn in a list of audience members who purchased a ticket because you invited them.
  • Pre-sale AND at the door tickets count.
  • Tickets you purchase for a friend OR a ticket your friend purchases on their own counts.
  • Ticket sale still counts if your guest purchases the ticket, but doesn’t attend
  • Ticket sale does NOT count if your guest doesn’t show up and never purchased a ticket ahead of time.
  • Two families cannot list the same guest as a ticket sale.

Prizes:

Winner will be by family. Students in the winning family will win a free lunch with staff member of their choice. Parents of the winning family will win 2 free FRONT ROW tickets to the next Haven production of their choice.

T-Shirts Are In:

If you ordered a t-shirt, you can pick it up before or after rehearsals next week. If you have not paid for your shirt yet, you will need to bring money in order to pick up your shirt.
