There are NO conflicts during tech week.  No exceptions.   Please remember, you are part of a team and you let down your team when you aren’t present. If you miss a stage placement, clean up day, or dress rehearsal, you will not be permitted to perform.

Please bring the following items to rehearsal.  You may leave these items under your chair the entire week.

(4) Painted nails

Ending Time
The tough part about tech week is that we need to get through the entire production each night.  For Cue to Cue, we will do our best to end by 10:00 PM.   For dress rehearsals, we will do our best to end by 9:30 PM. Please feel free to text the Haven Phone for an update on ending times or come early and watch the end of the rehearsal.  Your child can call when the rehearsal is finished.

Parents
Feel free to watch dress rehearsals and use the opportunity to take photos. Reminder that there is no videography or flash photography during performances.

Sign In and Sign Out:
Sign-In
Please sign in at the High School Room door off of the church parking lot.  If you do not sign in, we will assume you are not present and our stage manager will call to find you.
Sign-Out – Tech Week
All cast members must sign out each night with our Backstage Manager, Magnolia in the LOBBY at the end of the night.
Sign-Out for Performances – Ensemble D
Parents, you will be required to physically sign out your child. Please come to the stage right backstage area to pick up your child. Please feel free to take your child to greet friends and family in costume. Just make sure to change before you leave the building.
Sign-Out for Performances – Grades 6 and up
After the show, older cast members will be released in costume to visit with friends and family.  Once a cast member is released, they are no longer under the care of Haven staff members.

Backstage
Parents, family members, and friends will not be allowed backstage during performances.  Parent volunteers for each performance will be given a badge.  Parents, you are welcome to help your child with costumes and make up until 30 minutes prior to curtain.  The backstage area will be re-opened to parents after the show.

Costumes
Costumes are never to leave the building.  You should always change back into your street clothes after each rehearsal or show.  Please leave all your costumes, shoes, and props here at the church – even if it’s something that you personally own.

Ticket FAQs
Are all tickets performance specific and assigned seating?
Yes. When you purchase your tickets you will choose a performance AND a seat. We highly recommend purchasing tickets from a computer and not a mobile phone or tablet to make choosing seats easier.

How much are tickets?
General Admission: $10 pre-sale, $12 at the door. VIP: first three rows, ranging $15-30.

What if I want to have hard copy tickets to sell?
When you purchase your tickets, you will select how you want your tickets delivered. The company can mail you hard copies of tickets if you would like. You can then sell these tickets to your family and friends.

What if I need to exchange a ticket?
You will not be able to exchange a ticket through Brown Paper Tickets. You must wait until on-line ticket sales are shut down one week prior to opening night. Tickets will be available for exchange at specifically scheduled box office hours during tech week.

What if I have a technical problem purchasing tickets on-line?
You will need to contact Brown Paper Tickets. Haven is not able to solve any technical issues for you. Brown Paper Tickets has great 24 hour customer support.

What if I have a friend or family member who isn’t good at using the computer or internet?
They can call Brown Paper Tickets instead. All transactions can be done over the phone as well: 1-800-838-3006.

How long are pre-sale tickets available?
Pre-sale tickets are available until Thursday November 7th at 12:00 noon. After that time, tickets will be available at the door or during special box office hours during tech week.

Announcements:

Dropbox Link Arrangement:
This is a reminder that due to the sheer amount of music and file space this show contains, we’ve had to sort the music from Les Mis into two folders (one per act). Please follow this link to access the rehearsal tracks for Act Two. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/3lagpk8x5r1stwp/AAB7jhUbgi7-EcFe83z5Uh4Da?dl=0

Music
Please make sure that your child is practicing their music at home. It is very important that they stay on top of what they have learned as we are moving at a very fast pace this fall.

Shoes
A friendly reminder cast members must wear closed-toed shoes to all rehearsals. While this isn’t a dance-heavy show, the cast will be moving around a lot and that requires proper footwear.
