Tech Week Diners – Order Forms Due Thursday

Tech Week Dinner order forms will be available at the sign in table at rehearsal this week. Please make sure to turn in both form and money by Thursday at 6:30 PM. Forms can be dropped off at elementary rehearsal Tuesday, at the Haven offices during the week, or at Thursday’s Jr. High rehearsal.

DAP

A reminder that we will be administering our annual DAP (Developmental Assets Profile) survey to our students over the next three weeks. If you wish to “opt out,” please make sure to turn in your Opt Out Form by this Tuesday. We appreciate you considering allowing your child to participate. This simple and quick survey provides is with data that helps us secure the grants and funding that keep your child’s program running.

On-line Ticket Sales Close THIS Thursday 3/23 at Noon

A reminder that on-line ticket sales for our Jr. High performances close this Thursday at noon. Elementary tickets will remain on-line for another week. After tickets ship, additional tickets purchases can be made during the following box office hours:

About havenacademy

Rebekah Hellerman has been directing youth theatre productions for ten years. Favorite directing projects include Beauty and the Beast, Oliver!, and Sound of Music. She received a B.A. in Elementary Education and teaching credential from Biola University. After founding and building a successful theatre program at OCF Church, Rebekah established Haven Academy of the Arts. Under OCF Youth Theatre she organized and directed four successful Summer Theatre Camps, produced well-known family musicals, and facilitated outreach programs in inner-city Los Angeles. During Haven’s first year, she taught 2nd grade at Hermosa Valley and 3rd/4th grade at First Lutheran Venice. Rebekah believes strongly in applying educational theory and child development to directing children. She is consistently blessed by the amazing opportunities God has given her to work with these talented young people.
